Mission
The mission of the Annandale Ambassador Program is to cultivate, mentor, and support positive role models who proudly represent the community of Annandale.
Overview
The Miss Annandale Ambassador Program has been in existence since 1956 and is a scholarship program for young women in the Annandale community. Each spring, we invite junior and senior high school girls to participate in our candidate program, offering them a chance to build confidence, enhance leadership skills, and engage with the community. Throughout the candidate season, participants forge lasting friendships and gain valuable experiences in public speaking, volunteer work, mentorship, and personal development. During Annandale’s 4th of July Celebration, three candidates are selected as Ambassadors by an independent panel of judges, earning the exciting opportunity to represent Annandale for the next 12 months. As Ambassadors, they will engage with the community, volunteer at local events, and travel to neighboring cities while promoting the community of Annandale with pride.
